The open, light-filled salon is organized to encourage ease and connection, while more intimate treatment spaces provide privacy and calm. A restrained palette of natural materials and soft textures is animated by saturated color, bold artwork, and planting. Warm ash floors and joinery give the space a tactile, domestic character, balancing the precision of the salon’s custom furnishings and equipment.

Each element supports the client’s experience. Terrazzo-topped cabinetry provides durability and visual weight, integrated storage keeps the working environment composed, and generous seating creates moments of comfort before and after services. Within the treatment rooms, carefully considered lighting, acoustics, and shampoo stations transform routine services into restorative rituals.

The design is intentionally simple, relying on material, proportion, and atmosphere rather than unnecessary decoration. The result is a contemporary but approachable salon that reflects Milkbath’s emphasis on care, community, and well-being, elevating an everyday routine into a memorable experience.
